A Happier Christmas This Year!

Christmas parties, home decorating and holiday baking are all the fun festivities for the season but nothing compares to the happy moment where a child unwraps a present on Christmas morning with their brand new toy inside. Some children will not get this moment.

Across the globe, countless children will spend Christmas without getting even one present! Several Hopers visited Haiti and Zimbabwe, along with a few other Caribbean countries and witnessed the children using empty plastic bottles and the objects we typically throw in the recycling bins as their only toys.

LAST CHANCE FOR HAPPINESS!

Giving any one of these children their very first toy would make me happy this Christmas! HopeNYC has a Toy Drive each year and everyone gets the opportunity to give! This Sunday is THE LAST CHANCE to give as the drive ends!!! If interested, you can give in-person or on the HopeNYC app! This year, the toys will be going to Zimbabwe, Trinidad, Guyana and Jamaica! This is how to make a happier Christmas…for them!

You be Happy Too!

It’s a Date!

On February 22nd, set aside some special time to spend a romantic evening with a man.  I understand Thursday night might seem like a bit of an inconvenience but please understand! This man would die just to be with you. He has your best interest at heart and wants to see you happy. He is showing up so you can have life and have it more abundantly. You can’t hide your feelings from Him because He is all-knowing and He understands that you too also want to spend some time with Him. In fact you feel desperate in your soul for Him with a true honest desire for just a moment with Him. You truly know that He loves you for you are. Even your worst didn’t change His mind. You know the romance on this date far outweighs the love of a family member, spouse, and partner in courtship. This my friends, can only seem to be a date with Jesus.

We all need to steal away and spend some time with Him in prayer. 20 somethings! You get to spend ONE SPECIAL EVENING to focus on His love. The night is called: It’s a date! Come to this love themed night and enjoy some great food, desserts and mocktails! You get to mingle and form friendships with other 20 somethings in the room PLUS hang out at one of the coolest cafe’s in NY after closing! Don’t forget to WEAR SOMETHING RED! The color of love. We’ll all be wearing it! We’ve got an incredible Thursday night planned for exclusively for the 20 somethings! If that’s you gotta be there at CompassCoffee! You are free to invite anyone who is 20 something (both single and married welcomed)
