Don’t Bring Gifts To This Birthday Party!

This weekend, you are invited to one of the greatest birthday celebrations in New York! This Sunday is not going to be ordinary. Compass Coffee turns two years old and this birthday has been incredibly and carefully planned.

Compass is a Missions coffee shop that was created to help people in other countries get clean drinking water and rescue girls out of human trafficking through its partnership with The Zion project!

GUESS WHAT?

We will hear from the actual founder of the Zion Project: Pastor Deven Wallace. We will see her live and she will be preaching THIS Sunday at 10:30am at HopeNYC. Right after service, Compass will actually be giving you presents ūüéĀ as we celebrate this birthday! There will ALSO be special surprises for people who purchase a cup of coffee, dessert or item that day!

The fact that Pastor Deven will be at HopeNYC on Compass’ Birthday is not a coincidence or luck but this was indeed a divine appointment set up by God. In fact, Compass is a divine idea founded to help others and it will continue it’s mission even stronger as it steps into it’s second year! Read more about the MISSION here

How’ve you been?

Goodmorning! It is 8:15am!

It has been a couple of weeks since I have posted something & I do miss my pals here on wordpress. I have been seeing your new posts in my emails. Instresting, reads, interesting titles,  interesting photos & interesting mini sermons (For the those writing faith blogs). As the new mails flood my inbox I admire your detication & commitment for your blogs! If you are writing something to inspire & help make a significant change in the lives of others, I hope your audience grows in numbers & those around the globe will notice your blog.

An update on HopeNYC

HopeNYC, How has it been? These past couple of weeks has been so far some of the most amazing ever! Just being filled up with the word on Wenesdays. Being full of fire & enery with the teens on Friday. Seeing the colors of dancers & the finely dressed people worshipping on a Sunday. I am just so glad to be apart of this church & know the friends¬†I met there. Sometimes living life isn’t easy ….¬†even being a christian & striving to follow our perfect Lord & savior¬†gets real challeging at times too but going to HopeNYC to grow, worship, learn, pray, work, praise, testify love, fellowship… It really lightens the LOAD & helps me more to trust God to remove it, break me through it & make it all better. Many have testified that they have needed hope & they found it at HopeNYC. If any of you bloggers¬†get to visit New York City, I urge you to visit at least one services. I visited the Famous Statue of Liberty, Toys R us & been to Time Square so many times but they all can’t compare to ONE visit at HopeNYC Church. You won’t be a stranger at all because you will surely feel at home.

Yesterday

Wednesday is Hope Day

Many people, especially those in the office refer to Wednesday as hump day. ¬†At HopeNYC, we call it Hope day! It is not our favorite day of the week because¬†Saturday¬†draws near,¬†It is¬†HopeNYC’s most incredible night! ¬†Many Hope ¬†members & visitors think of this prayer & deliverance service (Hope Day) as ¬†Life changing, Reviving, ¬†& Remarkable! We go real deep into God’s word, spend a lot of time¬†¬†in prayer & ¬†receive ¬†a fresh message that transforms the hearts of the listeners.¬†There is great expectancy &¬†unity among all the people as these hearts seek¬†Jesus…The one this is all about.

ABOUT HOPE DAY

  • It’s ¬†every¬†hump Hope Day
  • Starts¬†at 7:00 pm
  • ¬†Miracles happen frequently
  • ¬†A lot of Love, ¬†Unity, A Praying Church
  • It’s all about Jesus.

It’s Home

There are many great things about New York City. The diverse people, the five boroughs, the opportunities & sensational places. The greatest thing to ever hit New York City came in 2009. ¬†It started with just 6 people in a small space in Ozone Park, Queens. Everything ¬†was given up in order to get this! There seemed to be nothing…. Nothing but The Vision. Part of the vision is to lavishly place food in the hands of the hungry, To build hospitals that heal, To fly all over the world ¬†& supply to those who had lost everything. The Vision did not end there… In fact, a fraction of the vision is to¬†form ONE great family out of every nationality! This place is¬†Hope. It is also¬†¬†Home. ¬†It’s HopeNYC ¬†Church “Where it’s not just church it’s home.”
