Don’t Bring Gifts To This Birthday Party!

This weekend, you are invited to one of the greatest birthday celebrations in New York! This Sunday is not going to be ordinary. Compass Coffee turns two years old and this birthday has been incredibly and carefully planned.

Compass is a Missions coffee shop that was created to help people in other countries get clean drinking water and rescue girls out of human trafficking through its partnership with The Zion project!

GUESS WHAT?

We will hear from the actual founder of the Zion Project: Pastor Deven Wallace. We will see her live and she will be preaching THIS Sunday at 10:30am at HopeNYC. Right after service, Compass will actually be giving you presents ūüéĀ as we celebrate this birthday! There will ALSO be special surprises for people who purchase a cup of coffee, dessert or item that day!

The fact that Pastor Deven will be at HopeNYC on Compass’ Birthday is not a coincidence or luck but this was indeed a divine appointment set up by God. In fact, Compass is a divine idea founded to help others and it will continue it’s mission even stronger as it steps into it’s second year! Read more about the MISSION here

Happy 5th of July!

The party isn’t over! The celebration of freedom still continues with patriotic colors and a cake to cut. The Freedom Cake is back at Compass! Fans had happily reunited with the cake this weekend. Just like last year, it’s going fast! Many are in love with the cake because of it’s eye-catching trio of colors on the surface and in the slices. WE are also fond of the delicious fresh homemade vanilla taste. You may find yourself back at the job today but you can continue celebrating with a satisfying slice! It tastes like a celebration any day after July 4thūüéČ

Red white and blue inside the slices

Compass Bath Salts

There’s vanilla, coconut and peppermint, smells delicious but¬†its not edible!

Compass Cafe has beautifully bottled bath salts bundled with benefits. The escaping fragrance you sniff is just enough to be sold and go home to a pampering. We often think the salts are simply for a good scent but it can:

  • Relax muscles and loosen stiff joints
  • Improve your mood
  • Detoxify the body
  • Treat sore muscles
  • Relieve Inflammation
  • Make an excellent foot soak
  • Eliminate oders
  • Deep clean skin (Removes pollution, oil and dirt. Exfoliates dead skin and dislodge blackheads)

After taking your usual shower, this is good to scrub, sit in, soak your feet or cleanse your face with warm water. I think these will make a fantastic and functional gift for a friend or family. These were created specially for you at Compass Cafe.

Compass Cafe is on a mission! Proceeds from this shop goes towards providing clean drinking water to impoverished countries and partners with the Zion Project to help end human trafficking! For more information visit www.HopeNYC.com and www.ZionProject.org  If you enjoyed these blogs/vlogs, like, share, spread the word and support the mission. Compass aims to make the world a safer one cup at a time.

Three Layers of Love

Do you love this cake or can it love you?

I’ve tried this tremendous trio of hazelnut, vanilla and maple in one sweet single slice of this cake! These layers make such a creative colorful combo that will cradle your tastebuds in hugs and kisses! Sweet treat to give to your loved one or ideal for indulging! It’s made with an original homemade recipe you can taste! Normally I don’t go for sweet but you can feel the love that went into this.

The XOXO cake is found only at Compass Cafe.

The Caribbean Sea Cake

If there is any location thats most desirable on this planet it would be the Caribbean. You’ve seen the commercials, the magazines, your friend’s vacation photos on social media! It’s the happy place and ideal destination for many including myself! The homey creamy vanilla taste of the Caribbean Sea Cake makes you feel like you’re there. Your tastebuds travel straight to paradise when you enjoy a slice. It’s moist, rich in flavor and have layers of fun tropical colors. The first cake was sold out within two hours! My vlog was filmed just an hour after it was made and the cake was halfway finished! I’m not usually a fan of plain or vanilla cakes but I love the richness in flavor and the blissful not overpowering sweetness in the caribbean sea cake. If you are in the New York area, come  grab yourself a slice this week!
