Free Frappes in Church

I got a free sip of one of the most ordered cold beverages at Compass. After such a GOOD word and amazing service today at HopeNYC Church, we were all treated to a free sample of the caramel frappe! So refreshing and satisfyingly sweet after a sermon about abolishing anxiety.  Where else can this happen?

After a sip, many of us rushed straight downstairs to the café for a bigger size. It was beyond delicious.
This beverage is popular all year round! Yes even in the winter! Kids love it just as much as the adults!

Do you like Reggae?

Sunset, breeze and reggae right on Rockaway Blvd! Just a few photos of what endless summer nights look like on Fridays evenings at Compass! This past Friday was Reggae night! There was some dancing, relaxation, and great conversation! People sipped fresh cold fruit juices and great-tasting frappes out in front of Compass’ seating area. There were delicious desserts from Jodi Bakes and a taste of Jamacia. Enjoy endless summer nights at Compass every Friday this summer at 7pm!

Where am I?

Sitting at here at Compass looking to see what’s new! I saw fresh baked Cheese Danishes by Jodi Bakes and the first ever COOKIE CAKE  🍪 at Compass. I also tried the new creation! Creme Brûlée Cheesecake!

A very pretty and petite cheesecake with a torched golden surface topped with cream and a fresh raspberry. All sitting on top of a tasty crispy brown crust. The creamy, fruity, crust  flavors made such a complete and outstanding combo. It was so delicious and made a memorable impression on my taste buds. It made people want more. It was nothing ordinary. In fact, it didn’t taste like anything in New York but all the way in Europe as if I were sitting at a Paris Café.

My Iced Latte Review!

This is the opinion of my iced latte this morning at Compass!

All the flavors your tastebuds should experience with coffee! Strong nutty taste from the espresso which is creamed with cool almond milk stirred with the right teaspoons of sugar. I craved strong and sweet and got it! What do you crave? There’s choices in sweetners, syrups & milk to make your ideal cup of hope! Just ask 😀

This Saturday morning as I work here on the laptop, I see tweens sitting together with frappes, soda, and Sunshine snacks. I’ve seen people today enjoy the Compass sandwiches talking how great the pesto spread tastes. A little boy who actually likes chai tea lattes and a friend of mine that dunked an oatmeal cream cookie in a milkshake. How interesting! Should try it one day! This is a pleasant place to be in the rain right now. Stay dry everyone!

TOMORROW AT 10:30pm! Awesome place to bring your dad! Empowering encouraging Word, gifts and more! It’s always such a special service! He will be blessed!

HOPE DAY SERVICE THIS WEDNESDAY AT 7PM!

NEXT SUNDAY AFTER SERVICE! 🌎 Try foods from around the world!

After Service Snack

The oatmeal cream pie tonight was delish & FREE! It was crunchy creamy & compact! Not to mention the rich great-tasting center that’s totally Jodi Bakes! I wish I can have it for breakfast tomorrow morning! After today’s life-changing Hope-Day service, it certainly made the perfect after-service snack!

Hope Day Service- Wednesday’s at 7pm HopeNYC Church

3 Days to Celebrate!

What are you doing next week? One of the most significant days to ever happen just to honor The Savior Jesus, The Word at beginning and one who sacrificed His Life to save the world 🌎 If there are no plans, I encourage you visit HopeNYC for an amazing Good Friday service: NEXT WEEK April 14th 6pm. Visit the HopeNYC website for information, directions, weekly services and additional upcoming events.

This Good Friday service will have an amazing Word for you. There’s worship in music, the holy communion, gifts for first time guests and washing of the saints feet (amazing yet optional) The opportunity to do what Jesus did when He washed the foot of His disciple. Just look around, pick someone in the room or a friend. Towels and buckets will be provided.

Bright and early on Saturday morning! It’s time to have fun at HopeNYC’s 9th annual Easter egg hunt! Everyone’s invited to spend a sunny morning with us at Baisely park while kids ages 1-9 explore with their easter baskets hunting around 10,000 colored candy-filled eggs. Finding a gold or silver egg gives them an amazing opportunity to win a bicycle or scooter along with some other fantastic prizes. Going home with dozens of eggs filled with candy is good enough for me 😀 The best part is, Admission is free!

The Priest, Pilate’s wife, and Peter! What went on in their minds after witnessing the most horrific mind-blowing scene in all humanity. Come see their view of the situation in a production where the story begins right at the start of service at 8am. Too early for you? Catch the 11am service! This broadway style yet Holy Spirit annointed production is filled with a life-changing message, dance, and an atmosphere that will take you back to the past where it all happened. If you are in New York make your way to Rockaway blvd for an exciting Easter service.

 Guat’s up? XELA That’s what! (Pronounces shay-la)

One cup quenches the thirst of a child miles away. One cup rescues a victim, held in the horrific hands of human trafficking. One cup can kick-start your day with a smile in each sip!
That’s what the XELA did to me. It’s an aromatic Guatemalan slow roast that’s like PEACE in a cup! It relaxes you yet energizes you in the most smoothing and subtle way! Because it does all of this, the XELA is actually my favorite coffee at Compass. Feel free to leave a comment below and share what’s your favorite coffee?

PB&J Yay or Nay?

An American classic turned into a cupcake!  It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time is one the newest at Compass Cafe! Swirled peanut butter frosting topped with peanut butter morsels all sitting on top of a sponge cake that mimics the taste of classic white sliced bread. In the center is a filling I assume you already know! Peanut butter’s sweet companion; jelly. You can taste the popular lunch sandwich in this cupcake while still delighting in a dessert. It’s baffling yet brilliant!  It’s Peanut Butter Jelly Time  is another Jodi Bakes creation.

You can taste the popular lunch sandwich in this cupcake while still delighting in a dessert. I’m at Compass Cafe on Wednesday night with business and bloopers. I’m trying the new cupcake! If you enjoyed this video please like, share and subscribe!

A Quick Trip To Paris

Okay so I actually didn’t go to Paris but I stepped out of New York! I did not catch a flight or lug a tote. Here at Compass Cafe, you set foot in another country! Come in and enjoy a sip of something from overseas.

Where will you go today?

Paris? The place where you can get coffee pressed to perfection? Not to mention neon macaroons bursting with color.

Guatemala? A sip of something Spanish while being allured by its amazing aroma.

Haiti? Enjoy an aromatic earthy blend and get some energy from the Petite Goave coffee. A six year old girl from this country sparked the idea of Compass Cafe a few years ago.
