The Hope Dancers!

Hope Parade 2016

‘Twas the perfect Christmas night filled with joy, excitement, music and lights! Rockaway blvd was alive and filled with joy as HopeNYC kicked off the Christmas season! HopeNYC’s annual light Parade has awakened the neighborhood and grabbed the attention of thousands! After long days and nights of carving styrofoam, painting, glittering, motorizing moving parts etc, the finished floats strolled out spectacularly stunning the streets with it’s beauty from God’s glory. Each float revealed something significant and special about the king of kings! Even the very story books we read for Christmas came to life and told something glorious about His Story which is History!

The floats later made their way home to HopeNYC Church and the crowd eagerly followed! Then finally in plain sight appeared the largest Christmas tree Queens had ever seen! Thousands of bright vibrant dazzling lights. The finale began with hot chocolate and cookies galore that tasted just right. Right after, the celebration was followed by a sparkling performance by the Hope Dancers! The night officially ended as Caribbean gospel artist Eddie Neblett sang us out after singing songs all night from his Christmas album: The Birth of Savior (On iTunes) People got to take photos with the float characters and dancers after the tree lighting.   Family and friends also gathered for photos by the Hope Tree! We also could not miss the opportunity to take photos with Santa!
